I had recently started a painting (above) from a great photo of a 70's van, haven't gotten very far. Now I realize how unoriginal this idea is. I do not believe I would be the first do to paint an old van, but I checked out Myloveforyou today and sure enough top post is this : 
And they're crazily well done. Gorgeous. Hmm... to continue mine or not...
