I am in the midst of creating a brand new shiny portfolio and with that I have redesigned this whole "yardsale" theme a bit.  More on the new portfolio coming soon.

Not too bad, Iphone...

I have been getting together some of my more recent work to photograph and update my portfolio site. It is that time of the year where I look at my website and cringe at the work–time to update and add more. My digital camera is not the best and I'm not looking into buying a new one at the moment, so out of curiosity I wanted to see if my iphone could take some portfolio-worthy work. Surprisingly, a few turned out pretty well. Take a look:

Weber Organic

Just finished some logos for WeberOrganic.com. They're just getting started and are still working on their website, but check back soon especially if you're into home brewing. There aren't a lot of options for organic ingredients for brewing, so this is certainly the place to go to.

Pitchfork wrap up

My brother and sister came up last weekend for their annual visit and to attend Pitchfork. Check out our photos here:

Gif Shop

The best (?) app I've purchased? Gifshop. Make gifs with your phone! This is just my first practice .gif.

Album cover

First draft of an illustrated album cover for a friend.
All that's missing is the reflection in the shades.

Food post

I am in-between a few projects and have nothing substantial to post at the moment, so I'll leave you with some food. I rarely never cook, but last night Matt and I made Grilled Cheese Social's "Thin me up and watch me go" (plus tomato) sandwich. It was amazing, and produced really pretty pictures (or at least I thought so), so I felt they were blog-worthy. Enjoy

Cornhole/Bags boards

This past weekend, for Fourth of July and Matt's birthday, I ordered some unfinished cornhole boards and painted them for a cookout. The usual "custom" painted boards of sports teams or beer logos you usually see isn't really my thing. So I went with a delicious Chicago dog and a big burger on the beach. (Click photos to enlarge)
