It's been a slow day

190 Drawings of Bill Cosby:

Wish I knew about this before it was over so I could have submitted. There's a few really good ones though, and lots with comments about puddin' pops and Cosby-esque garble.

Love Birds

These two have been riding the opposite way on the train every morning since last September. I've noticed them being friendly all throughout the year, but just friends. Today they were holding hands and kissed. I thought it was cute, congrats to them. I'm not a stalker.

sneak preev

I'm into squares lately

Character sketch #1

How much would this cost...

I wonder how much like 100 rubiks cubes would cost in bulk. I really want to try to make one  of these Rubikcubism pieces like Invader. Going to attempt to look up where to order mass amounts of cubes, I'll let you know my findings. haha.

Another band poster for my brother--er well actually all of the bands that are playing this night. I like it... minus the original fonts of the bands names, but oh well they gave me them to use. And it's a wildebeest...not a skinny cow.

My co-worker emailed me...

... a message with "Oh the humanity" in the subject line for a link to this article titled:
"Beer Truck Overturns, Spills on Tollway"
I like this excerpt:
“I would advise nobody to go out there and get themselves a six-pack,” Fierstein said. “There are plenty of cops on the scene.”
Way to go sun times.

BUT WAIT....on another note..(notice the weather at the top of sun times' website)

Wedding season

So I usually hate designing  things like this and am not very good at it, but my roommate's sister is getting married and I'm helping her with the bridal shower invites. Basically wanted me to semi-copy an invite she found in the store, but I think they look ok right?

A rough draft of owls

I had to rework my owls from the first time, for the Who What Why, and How books at work. Still not done yet, but my eyes hurt so I'm done for now.

What I should really be doing...

... is turning these into "cool" illustrations like this, who wants a print of Maya in their home? haha.
and this was me attempting to do an MWM inspired background. I should leave it to him.

They never end...

Two more illustrations for these books, can't wait for this book to be finished... but then how else will I spend my time if not drawing semi-historical figures for someone else's' project?

and no they don't go together like this
