I have been pretty busy lately, nothing of too much importance or interest to get their own post yet, but here's a mashup of some random or in-progress projects that I'm working on.
But I'm never too busy, got a project or painting request? Email me! I actually need to start a new large painting soon.

Sunpaper
I'm back, I haven't had a lot to post lately, and I went home for a nice relaxing weekend. Didn't do much but did have the chance to do some fun craft projects with my mom. I had seen some neat things done with that sunpaper I used to play with as a kid, so I tracked some down online and did a few at home with plants. They are much darker and the contrast is really nice now that they have fully dried. I will post final images once I get them in frames.

Crafty
After seeing some amazing things at Renegade this past weekend, it inspired me to start some new projects. First up; a sewing project. I always see these necklaces/scarves and wasn't exactly sure how to make them, but I had an idea (my idea turned out to be correct) so I googled and found this video from the great people at Threadbanger. (Mom you need to check out all their projects)

Beardog BREW
As a kinda funny present to a friend I helped another friend make some mock beer labels out of a long-running joke. Beardog Brewery! Maybe one day it will be a real thing.

Renegade
I got to hit up Renegade Craft Fair this sunday. Besides the usual great printers and crafters of Chicago that are always at these things, some new names (to me) that were also superb:
.... and I only ended up buying one thing:
Haha, a mask (from here) made from recycled water bottles... but it GLOWS IN THE DARK. I'm set for Halloween.
Printmaking
Finished this print this morning. Turned out ok, just gonna make some notecards or something out of it.
